I am a member of care2.com, a site dedicated to the promotion of social issues, from the environment and animal abuse, to hunger and poverty.

I created a group on care2 today in the hopes of bringing people from the arab and western cultures together in order to discuss our differences and our similarities. Many, on both sides, have various misconceptions about the other. I am hoping this will eliminate as many of these misconceptions as possible. A few people have signed up so maybe it will take off and produce something postive.
